United Equipment Services (M) Sdn Bhd (UES) is a 100% cranage company, who deals with all new / used heavy equipment and crane accessories. We are the official authorized distributor for Grove Worldwide in Malaysia, one of the world leading manufacturer of Mobile Hydraulic Lifting Equipment, and our experienced personnel are credited for the sales of some 300 plus units of new Grove crane sales.

As a result of many years of association with Grove Worldwide and along with Grove’s strong product / service back-up support, we have earned a worldwide reputation on overseas assignments. Our services have extended to as far away as Russia, Pakistan, China, Taiwan, Indonesia, and Singapore to name a few.

In line with our dynamic expansion program, we have established our offshore division, specially catered for offshore pedestal cranes, on the offshore crane operation maintenance and repair with the National Oil Company. Prior to that, similar type of services was also extended to the East Malaysia.

Our services provided under the offshore division involves the scope of work such as supply of qualified crane operators, skilled technicians, supervisors, engineers, administrative, safety and training personnel as well as supply of spare parts for an assortment brand of cranes which required an extensive international supply network and logistics support.

We also provide similar type of support services to the petrochemical companies in Malaysia, and have undertaken complete teardown and overhauling exercise including the installation of explosion proof Load Moment Indicator systems on berth hose handling cranes for Mobil and Esso.

Major customers of Grove cranes in Malaysia are Equator Engineering, Esso, Kemaman Supply Base, Petronas Penapisan Melaka, Titan Petrochemicals and Polyethylene, Bechtel Bina, Optimal Chemicals, Amoco Chemicals, and are regularly attended by us, especially in preparing them for the annual inspection and renewal of the Lifting Machinery Certificate.

Another important aspect is the rigid legislation or enforcement of mandatory Load Moment Indicators (LMI) to be installed on all cranes and lifting equipments for safety reasons. Due to their complexity or lack of understanding on these LMI systems, frequently these systems are not attended to, when they malfunctioned, or simply being by-passed, which amounts to sacrificing safety in total.

In order to provide total solutions and back-up support to customers who encounter these problems, our personnel are factory-trained and are mostly well versed with major LMI brand names such as PAT, Kruger, and ROBWAY Load calibration. The ROBWAY products that we represent include the explosion proof version for equipments operating in hazardous areas.
